Week 1: Create a robot from an allocated Abbreviation "RVSP"
The task was to create a robot from the abbreviation RVSP which is for the french saying "répondez s'il vous plaît" which means please reply. However, there were a few conditions we were not allowed to create robot underneath the original definition but instead had to find new words to place underneath each letter and still have it make sense. The words that were chosen were "Royal Village Sorting Platoon" which are a platoon of postage robots commissioned by the royal French Embassy and serve the function of replacing post-men and being able to deliver digital and physical messages more securely as well as provide vital information to local residents.
Furthermore, using the shape tool I learnt how to make a perspective grid with multiple points adjusting the polygon tool settings tool to create a star shaped path that work as perspective points and using this I began to create a rough mockup of a factory environment and also a hand reaching out of a box.
